Ramblings

This will be home to my dad’s book, as well as some of my own writings. Dad wrote, “Stand by: Mark,” a memoir of his experiences during WWII. In lieu of a 2nd flying cross, he received another medal, but his account of the ceremony and his conversation with Admiral Chester Nimitz afterward is a pretty amazing story. His book, written for the family, has previously been hosted on two different sites by his friend, Jim Moen.  It will take a while for me to enter his book, so it probably won’t be available until fall.
